    My first painting...

    My first painting...

    This painting was the beginning of my art journey! I talked about painting, maybe someday, as a passing conversation with my husband at times. One day, my husband brought home a picture of his friend going camping, and he wanted me to paint it for him. Give it a try! Just for fun! He said. I bought an oil painting starter kit, a how-to-paint booklet, and a 16" x 20" canvas. The whole process felt so good– It was love at first try. I have not stopped painting since. (2007)
