About Konstantin Javakhyan

  • Biography

Konstantin Javakhyan is a contemporary Armenian artist renowned for his masterful still life paintings. With over 25 years of experience, his work is rooted in classical techniques while embracing a modern sense of light, contrast, and symbolic depth.

Javakhyan’s still lifes are meditative compositions where fruits, leaves, and everyday objects become carriers of mood, memory, and quiet drama. Whether through the rich texture of grapes, the glow of pomegranates, or the subtle decay of leaves, he captures a timeless beauty that bridges past and present.

Born in Yerevan in 1984, Konstantin studied at the Hakob Kojoyan Art School and later at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. His paintings have been exhibited in Armenia and internationally, and are held in private collections across Europe and the United States.

Now based in the U.S., Konstantin continues to explore the poetic stillness of nature through a uniquely expressive and meticulous style.
