About Ketki Fadnis

  • Biography

Ketki Fadnis is a self-taught, intuitive Contemporary Abstract artist from Pune, India. Her work emerges from lived experiences, memories and a deep connection with the rhythms of nature.

Rooted in abstract expressionism, Ketki’s paintings are characterised by gestural brushstrokes, meditative mark-making, and an expressive play of colour that invites emotional resonance.

Her visual language moves fluidly between subtle nuances and bold, contrasting hues, layered with contemplative marks that suggest the many moods and energies that exist within us and across the universe.

Rather than prescribing meaning, Ketki’s art opens a dialogue - encouraging viewers to engage their own imagination, perceptions, and emotional landscapes. Joy, vitality, and quiet introspection coexist within her canvasses.

Ketki has participated in multiple national and international exhibitions, and her works are held in private and corporate collections across more than fourteen countries.
