    Born in Los Angeles, Ken Horne is an artist and psychotherapist currently based in Charlottesville, Virginia. He received his BA from the University of Colorado Boulder and his MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Focusing primarily on painting and collage, Ken’s work brings the practices of psychology and abstraction together with the language of aerial mapping and cartography to speak about the ways in which contemporary society divides the landscape and organizes our experiences of the world. Often referencing quilts, puzzles, and game boards, the bold and colorful constructions convey relational, associative, or emotive qualities.
