    A glimpse inside my studio, surrounded by paintings, colour studies and works in progress. This is where I explore new combinations of colour, develop compositions and allow ideas to move freely between observation, memory and intuition. Each study becomes part of the journey towards a finished painting.

    I paint what stays within me

    I paint what stays within me

    Some moments disappear almost as soon as they happen. Others remain within us — as colour, emotion, movement or a fragment of light. Painting is my way of giving these impressions a visible form. I do not try to recreate a moment exactly as it was. Instead, I follow what it has become in memory, allowing the image to change and find its own voice somewhere between recognition and abstraction.

    Not every day in the studio is spent at the easel. Some days are dedicated to developing ideas, planning new collections, documenting artworks and preparing for exhibitions. Surrounded by my paintings, I remain connected to the visual world of my practice even during these quieter moments.
