About Jose Antonio Ochoa

  • Biography
Through figurative painting I try to confront the visual exhaustion caused by the voracious consumption of images coming from the mass media; that is why I make a silent painting, capable of arousing contemplation and recovering the intimacy of a look. Through decontextualisation, I present enigmatic images that raise questions in the viewer but do not offer answers. Whether landscape or portrait, with my art I seek a space of serene reflection, works capable of providing the calm and peace so longed for in our frenetic world. I would like to sell on Artfinder because I find it a very interesting project. Both at the interface level and for the artists it represents. I think it is a good way to share my art with a wider audience. I don't want to be left out of a project with so many possibilities.
