Biography
Photographing is a daily ritual for me that I cannot live without. Even when I do not have anything to photograph to add to my portfolio, I still walk around and photograph as an improvisational exercise and fun. Additionally, vintage lenses ranging from the 50s to the 70s have become a major interest (and investment : ).
Having grown up in West-Germany with American movies and TV shows from that era, I was instilled with a lifelong fascination with what is now called the Mid-Century Modern period of the 40s to 70s. In essence, with my photography, I attempt to recreate scenes that could have been filmed or photographed during that time.
