studio photo

My studio travels with me. I do have a dedicated space for large-scale work — with boards where ideas take shape, expansive surfaces, and generous tables that support complex processes. But ultimately, what matters is that my work is not confined to that space. It moves with me. I create in my studio in Jardins, São Paulo, but also at home, and throughout my travels around the world. The practice begins with the idea, not the place. The studio, therefore, can emerge anywhere — at a dining table, in a bar, in transit. I work in a gestural way, using tools that respond to me — never the other way around.
