I am an Abstract Oil Painter based in Birmingham, UK. I found my passion for painting abstract art after I made the life changing decision to leave my professional corporate career of 20 years. Finally having some time to focus on my interests led me to rediscovering art and specifically painting.

I love creating abstract art which is in contrast to the very structured career I had in the corporate world. I use bold and vibrant colours and love working with a pallet knife which adds rich texture. My favoured medium is Oil paint. I have a love of working with a palette knife and use it to create depth, texture and intricate marks in my artwork.​ 

I accept commission and love creating bespoke art for enhancing interiors and have created many commissions for numerous clients. 

Each piece I create starts with an idea around colours and composition, the painting evolves organically as I immerse myself in the process. I take inspiration from the vivid colours in nature, emotions evoked by music, and the interior design world.
