    My current work in progress

    I love repetition while I'm painting - I find the process very meditative and soothing. Sometimes I head towards geometric patterns, symmetry and circular motifs, and other times I use the same shape repeatedly which is both satisfying to paint and also to view. This is my current work in progress; I'm not entirely sure how it will look in the end, I'm taking it one step at a time and feeling very mellow while doing so.

    Time to freshen things up a little ....

    I've taken the bold decision to empty out my Artfinder gallery and start afresh - many of the pages contained all the paintings which I have sold over the last ten years and some of the rest no longer felt relevant to the artist I have become as time has passed. So - for now, there is just ONE painting available, "48 Flowers", which feels a bit weird, to be honest, but there will soon be more. It feels good to evaluate how things are going and to look forwards, rather than backwards, along this artistic path of mine.
