Courageous Love - Grevillea Peaches and Cream By HSIN LIN 60.9cm (W) x 91.4cm (H) x 3.5cm (D) 12/02/2020 Acrylic on Acid free Gesso primed Canvas Ready to hang Side panel painted: Black Affirmation - Brave to be bold, to be different and born to be yourself. Grevillea - primarily native to Australia, are evergreen shrubs or trees of great beauty with needle-like to fern-like foliage and incredibly flamboyant flowers. It has magnificent flowers in varied shapes and forms. Most have long flowering periods. The species I encountered in my neighbourhood is peaches and cream- has the most stunning, harmonic greenish- yellowy -pinkish colour hue. In this painting, the flowers stand out gloriously from the leaves at the background. It is one of my favourite trees. I adore the beauty of it every day I walk into the woods. The bloom of it stands for Boldness, Strength and Courage. Exactly what I would like to express in this piece. WILD BOTANICAL ABSTRACT SERIES 2020. Sealed with clear spray varnish. Sign at front, sides painted black and ready to hang. D-rings and wire attached at the back. Comes with certificate of authenticity. 76cm (W) x 51cm (H) x 4cm (D) By HSIN LIN Affirmation: Having faith in sunny days, anything is possible. Hydrangea symbolise heartfelt feelings, whether of joy or sadness. With its wooden stems and lacy, star-shaped flowers packed together in a pompom. The blossoms are treasured for both their grace and delicacy and are the flower symbol of the fourth wedding anniversary. The hydrangea’s colour is varied. Purple hydrangeas symbolise a desire to deeply understand someone. This special species that I encounter is cityline, with the delicate frill around the edge of the petals. Light purple, faint blue and soft green mixed on the blooms in perfect harmony. I have had a wonderful time observing this beautiful hydrangea shrub closely, it reminds me of happiness. The scene is a pure bliss to enjoy. I’ve started this particular painting 6 months ago, painting and studying the intricate details almost every day I can, also have the honour to demonstrate on my solo exhibition – Bloom Like Flowers, held by Knox City Council, and have it completed on the last day of my exhibition. It’s been a long journey, sunny days and rainy days, filled with a lot of try and error, love and effort. It’s a challenge that I have enjoyed, also a reminder that success / the goal you want to achieve may not be something would happen overnight. Be Hopeful and do not afraid of the new path in front of you. You will get there eventually if you keep marching on. I present you a latest piece in my signature series -Bloom like flowers. I sincerely hope you enjoy it too. -Bloom like flowers - In this signature series of mine, flowers as the object represent life itself to me. Our own will to be alive, and the way we want to be alive. While I carefully paint these tiny flower petals, or built up those fine leaves’ vines, it is like the way we try to figure out those uncertainty, furthermore, to be able to be closer to the truth a little bit more. This artwork is inspired by my visiting to Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. I am HSIN LIN , Full Time Artist based in Melbourne Australia , obsessed with the beauty of flowers . From where I live in Bayswater, there is a big field of forest nearby. My creating process normally start from a short walk into the woods, touching the texture of the barks, feeling the sunlight reflecting on the leaves and grasses . I then collect whatever I found during the walk as inspiration. Sometimes would be the gum tree, oak tree, pine tree leaves, or bird feathers; in autumn I have acorns, and wattles in winter. There's only one rule for my collecting process, never take from the living tree/life. I collect what had fallen only, and those are the gift from the nature of the day for me. Original painting & Limited Edition Prints are now Available, DM me if you have any inquiry 😌🙏🏻❤️The gorgeous is ready for a new home. 💁 Please enjoy the colourful world of my original painting. Time-lapse video - From months to 6 minutes. I present you - A LIFE TIME LOVE (2020) by HSIN LIN. This artwork is also featured in Artfinder Editors' Picks - New for October!

Hello beautiful people! Wherever you are I hope you all stay well. So I am back on my latest blog post with something different for you! 😊 Original artwork & Limited-Edition Print on stretched Canvas & paper are now available. A LIFE TIME LOVE – Chrysanthemums, Roses and Green Ball Dianthus (2020) By HSIN LIN Artist Acrylic on Gesso primed canvas. Artwork painted extend to all Side panels as photo shown. Ready to hang. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Sealed with clear varnish. 61 (W) x 91cm (H) x 3.5 cm (D) Affirmation: A life time may be short, but it may also be long enough for us to make it the greatest journey. When the world turns upside down, cherish the people who love you, most important of all, remember to give yourself a life time love. This project is actually planned for quite sometimes. I started this artwork around March, since then, a lot of things happened and the world seems changed completely. On the other hand, we have more time to be with ourselves, to think and to realise what is really important to us. This artwork somehow kept me grounded all this time and I happy to say I finally have it completed at the end of September. It’s been a really long journey, sunny days and rainy days. Long working hours required determination and faith to achieved. I spent almost every day studying those intricate composition and fine details. If you look close enough, each tiny petal was built up by more than 10 layers. The process wasn’t an easy task but It’s a challenge that I enjoyed, and I am proud of myself for not giving up. There’s also another reason that I’ve never mentioned why I started this series in the first place. Which I did revealed during an artist interview on August 2020. Years ago, I was ill. The mother nature, my paint brushes and canvases were the things that helped me back to my feet. Since then I have decided - if I have the time/ life that I thought I nearly lost, I want to make good use of it to create something beautiful, to do something only I can do and to pass the positive messages and healing power to people, that intension never changed. Life goes on and I think we all agree that 2020 is a very different year. By the time I have this artwork completed, I decided to name this artwork - A Life Time Love, which is also an extension from my previous artwork – A Life Time Journey, A Life time blessing, and Have Faith in A Sunny Place. Because the world might change in all of a sudden, but love keep us grounded. This is also a reminder to myself- always take care and love yourself first, that’s what makes you stronger. I sincerely hope you enjoy this artwork from my signature series - A LIFE TIME LOVE. Spiritual meaning of the flowers- Dianthus - flower of the Gods. Green Ball Dianthus, also known as Green Trick Dianthus are a unique flower with a fuzzy ball-shaped bloom. Chrysanthemums symbolize deep passion and optimism. Red roses stand for true love and romance The flower of bird of paradise symbolize joyfulness and faithfulness. Leucadendron, native to Australia, are often used to convey an appreciation for simplicity in life. Simple beauty is one of the most popular meanings for this bloom. This artwork is inspired by an amazing floral arrangement that I spotted in Donvale, Melbourne, Victoria, 2020 – A unforgettable year. Also based on my own photos. Link to my shop front If you would like to collect this particular artwork, it’s a real beauty you wouldn’t want to miss. I truly hope you enjoy this artwork like I do. Warmest Regards, Artist, HSIN LIN
