{ Studio Highlight : } Look for rainbows when it rains. -Be A Rainbow In Your Clouds- Eastern Rosella

Hello everyone. Wherever you are I hope you are all staying healthy, happy and well. I am back with the studio update for an insight for this particular artwork ! Featured artwork in the photos : Be A Rainbow In Your Clouds- Eastern Rosella (2020) 31cm (W) x 41cm (H) By HSIN LIN Signed at front. Ready to hang. Side panel painted: Black Painted with palette knife, pine tree leaves and brushes. Acrylic painting on Premium quality triple coated 410 g/m2 Acid free canvas Metallic Gold paint are used. It actually shines beautifully when you look at the physical painting. Affirmation: Look for rainbows when it rains. Eastern Rosella -also known as the rosella, white cheeked rosella and rosella parakeet, mainly eat seeds but also berries, blossoms, nectar, fruit and insects. They have white cheeks, bright red heads and necks and blue flight feathers. Feathers on their backs and wings are black, edged with yellow-green or yellow. The native symbols of Rosella are eternal love and devotion. Rosella also indicates love and a shared journey. As many of you may know I don’t paint birds very often, but when I do it’s normally a self-projection. From where I live in Bayswater, there is a big field of open woodland near my studio. My creating process normally start from a short walk into the woods, touching the texture of the tree barks, feeling the sunlight reflecting on the leaves and grasses. I then collect whatever I found during the walk as inspiration. There's only one rule for my collecting process, never take from the living tree/life. I collect what had fallen only, and those are the gift from the nature of the day for me. The grassland is always my favourite playground, especially during the lockdown. I often accompanied by varies local birds such as cockatoos, magpies, colourful rosellas, lorikeets and kookaburras during the walk. This time, I encountered a beautiful friend. A branch of fallen pine tree leaves is what I picked up. My eyes landed on this colourful rosella resting quietly on the branch of one of the giant, old pine tree. In winter, pine tree leaves show different shades of colors, the earthy tone gave me a feeling of zen and tranquillity - a peace of mind. It’s a peaceful and delightful scene to enjoy. I captured this beautiful friend with my paint brushes and canvas, worked on it for quite sometimes and finally have it completed while painting on my front yard under the warm winter sun. I would like to share the beautiful moment with you, hope this artwork be the brightest rainbow in your Clouds. Welcome to visit my Profile for direct purchase. I truly hope you enjoy this artwork as I do. Happy collecting ! Warm Regards, Artist, HSIN LIN

{June Blog Update} Back from exhibition , now available: Sweet, Sweet love –Strawberries. Affirmation: You and your loved ones are divinely loved and blessed.

Hello everyone! Wherever you are, I hope you are all staying well. Greetings from my studio to you. I am back with a throwback photo of this particular artwork on display in recent Exhibition. Back from exhibition, now available : Sweet, Sweet love –Strawberries By HSIN LIN Artwork size -40.6 x 50.8 cm Artist Acrylic and Metallic Gold Powdered Pigments on gesso primed Acid free canvas - shines beautifully when you have a close look of the physical painting. Sealed with clear spray varnish. D-rings and wire attached at the back, ready to hang. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Ready for a new home. During the past few months, I got these beautiful, delicious strawberries from the market frequently. These big, sweet, juicy strawberries are a real treat to enjoy. It was heartbreaking seeing truckloads of strawberries being destroyed after the strawberry needle contamination few years ago. These fresh strawberries I got looked tempting, shine like rubies, and grown locally. Therefore, I arranged these strawberries on my favourite patterned turquoise plate, painted this artwork as a tribute to our framers because I really think this beautiful fruit deserved more love. {Fresh off my easel ! !} Drumrolls for my 326 th artwork : Wake up every day with a grateful heart, live the life, enjoy the present. - Life is a Gift - Poppy Iceland, Hare's Tail Grass, Rose, Hydrangea and Everlasting Paper Daisy

Hello lovely people! Wherever you are, I hope you are all staying well. I am back with the blog post of May with new artwork released & greetings from my studio to you. This particular artwork marks the 326th artwork fresh off my studio and I absolute love every details of it. From the soft velvety petals to bold brush strokes, I found myself falling in love with it every time I look at this new artwork of mine. It's a delightful sight to enjoy really. New Artwork Release : Life is a Gift - Poppy Iceland, Hare's Tail Grass, Rose, Hydrangea and Everlasting Paper Daisy (2025) 76.2cm (W) x 76.2cm (H) By HSIN LIN Artist Acrylic on triple primed premium double thick canvas. Sealed with clear spray varnish. Side panels painted. Signed at the front and ready to hang. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Affirmation: Wake up every day with a grateful heart, live the life, enjoy the present. To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings during its flowering season. This artwork depicts a gorgeous flower arrangement I encountered during my visit to a local nursery on a sunny afternoon. Time froze on that magical moment, and this gorgeous bouquet caught my attention. The flowers were placed in a white ceramic pot, wrapped in a pastel colour grosgrain ribbon. The beautiful flower arrangement reminds me that life is precious and every day is a gift. Poppies symbolise dreams, remembrance and mindfulness. The Poppie flowers commemorate victims who served and lost their lives during the conflicts. These radiant blossoms also stand for spiritual awakening and transformation. Lagurus ovatus, also known as Hare's tail grass, bunny tail grass. In the Language of Flowers, Hare's tail grass symbolises protection, innocence, purity, love, beauty, and fertility. In some cultures, bunny Tail Grass is believed to ward off evil spirits or negative energies. Placing Bunny Tail Grass near doorways or windows is thought to keep negative influences at bay and bring positivity into the home. Roses in Light Pink are associated with gentleness, admiration, gratitude and sympathy. Gifting light pink roses is a perfect way to let the receiver know that they are a pleasure to behold. Everlasting paper daisies, also known as Strawflower (Xerochrysum bracteantha), symbolise immortality and can also represent someone or something that is always remembered. Last but not least, one of my favourite native flowers, Hydrangea, symbolises Heartfelt and honest emotions, reunion, abundance and prosperity. Welcome to visit my Profile for direct purchase. {New arrival!!} Drumrolls for 325th artwork fresh off my easel: Home Is Where You Are – White Queen Protea, Eucalyptus Flower and Gumnuts in a Vase.

Hello lovely people! Wherever you are, I hope you are all staying well. I am back with the blog post of March with an new artwork released & greetings from my studio to you. This particular artwork marks the 325 th artwork fresh off my studio. It has a bright and delightful colour palette which is not only easy for the eyes but also a room makeover and I absolute love every details of it Affirmation: Home is where I find light when all goes dark, home is where you are. New Artwork Release : Home Is Where You Are – White Queen Protea, Eucalyptus Flower and Gumnuts in a Vase (2025) 90 x 75 x 2.5 cm By HSIN LIN Acrylic on Acid-free canvas. Signed at the front and ready to hang. Sealed with clear spray varnish. Side panels painted. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This artwork was inspired by a day trip to Torquay, Victoria. This gorgeous native bouquet in a tall glass vase in a beautiful indoor setting with a Woven bamboo fan caught my attention. Protea flowers - native to Australia and South Africa, symbolise courage and Love. I am especially in love with the story behind the name: In Greek legend, proteas were named after Proteus, the son of Poseidon. A sea god who had the power to know all things past, present, and future. The Woven bamboo fan stands for connections, the connection between families, friends, and all the people around us. Even if you are apart, everyone is still being linked together as a whole, stronger together. Every passenger in our life, every stranger, and people who stay and who are meant to cross our path for a reason plays an irreplaceable role in our story. As for my all-time favourite - Eucalyptus stand for Healing and Protection. It’s what home is meant to be. A place where we can stay, relax, and breathe. Featured artwork : Let’s Make A Wish - Banksia Menziesii (Menzies Banksia) By HSIN LIN Artist Acrylic on triple primed gesso canvas, painted with palette knife and brushes. Signed at front and ready to hang. Sides Painted. 91.4 x 60.9 cm Affirmation – Desire is the key to motivation, our wish becomes our will, determination brings success. So, let us light up a candle, make a wish, take a chance and make a move. This Australian native plant is one of my favourite objects to study, to paint and I especially love the spiritual meaning of it. Some species of Banksia protect their seeds inside follicles while simultaneously opening up when experiencing fire. It reminds me that we shall never give up no matter what kind of difficulty we encounter in life. Sometimes challenges in life may be good things in disguise. Banksia symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. To move on to the past courageously, to have the strength that pain cannot touch and to look forward to tomorrow. Banksia menziesii, also known as firewood banksia or strawberry banksia, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Banksia. Leaves are dull green with new growth in greyish green. Flowers are often in two colours red or pink and yellow. Menzies Banksia is commonly seen in Australian Parks and gardens, it provides food for animals and birds, in particular- honeyeaters.
