Thanks Shun, it kind of created itself, all had to do was bother to grab my equipment and climb the hill behind my home to let the early Spring sunset do it's magic.

The painting is even more beautiful in person and Guy was a pleasure to deal with. He was super proactive about frame choices and letting me know when it was dispatched. I love this painting... something about the combination of colours and overall energy... just struggling on how to frame it... or should i leave it? (it does look like it is painted on the middle bit of a kitchen cupboard :) Looks gorgeous in the room.

Thank you Sue, as I mentioned to you during the purchase process this piece was painted on an upcycled wooden panel (I believe you're probably correct in your kitchen cupboard identification). When I happen to paint on such items it often leads to me to adopting a bolder more energised approach, as you've also picked up on. Very pleased to hear how much it resonates with you. I think a floating frame (dark-mid-tone) would give a air of authority, whilst leaving it as is has a a more playful appearance.
