About Greta Fila

I'm an italian sculptress. I've sculped since early age... since I was in primary school, sculpture was my favorite way to pass time. When I was 20 years old, I've made the greatest decision of my life: moving to Florence to study Sculpture at Academy of Fine Arts. There I found my way on the path of Umanism and Reinasseance Masters: shape is not only a fisical conformation, but the Order of a Soul. Actually behind my way to make and live Sculpture there is a kind of magical statement... there are two worlds: the eternal one of the soul, dreams, and immagination, and the one of the fisical matter and events, of linear time. The Artist stays in between, like an Ancient Marbled Arch opened on another dimension. So I deeply know my art comes from the soul and depicts highly symbolic figures full of spiritual meaning.
