Event: Art workshop

On February 4th, I made a art workshop in Los Gatos Meadows. In first half, I present my artworks and explain how I did them. In second half, I did a live painting one of the buildings in Los Gatos Meadows.
It was a honor to present and show my artworks in Los Gatos Meadows. I hope we will meet again!

Biography
Hi, I’m Gözde, an architect and artist based in Istanbul. My practice grows from the intersection of architecture, urban observation, and the quiet narratives found in everyday life. I began working professionally as an artist in San Jose, California in 2016, and since then, drawing has become my way of studying places—both their forms and their atmospheres.
Working primarily with black ink, watercolor, and linocut, I am drawn to the clarity and restraint of monochrome. Influenced by Japanese ink traditions such as Sumi-e, I explore how simplicity, line, and texture can reveal the character of a space or moment.
My process often starts on the street: quick sketches, photographs, and impressions collected during daily walks. In the studio, these fragments evolve into works that balance memory with structure, intuition with precision.
My work has been exhibited at The Down Gallery of Art and shared through workshops in the Bay Area. Here, you are invited to explore and collect pieces from this ongoing study of place, form, and quiet observation.
