About Franziska Scherer

Biography
I'm a Visual Artist and also a Psychotherapist and Psyco-oncologist. I work at the interface between art and mental health. When we can't get anywhere with words in psychotherapy, we fall back on metaphors and images. There are many things that cannot be expressed with words, or not sufficiently. Giving these images a space, making them visible, is what drives me in my artistic work.
