    My process of creating paintings

How beautiful it is to paint a picture outdoors by the river. It's always a special ritual, where you don't just paint nature, but live with it in one breath. I come to a place where the river speaks its own language—with its murmur, splash, and silence. I bring canvas, paints, brushes, and the feeling that today I'm not just painting, but listening. I unfold the easel. The wind gently flutters the edge of the canvas. The light plays on the water, and I capture this mood—not in detail, but with my heart. I seek not precision, but the truth of the moment. When the work is almost finished, a slight sadness appears—but at the same time, joy: I have left a piece of the river, the sky, and myself on the canvas.

    Plein Air in the Mountains

    Plein Air in the Mountains

Painting atop a snow-capped mountain is more than just a creative process; it's an immersion into a world encompassing nature, silence, and a sense of freedom. These are the emotions and states that often accompany an artist at such a moment. Standing on a mountaintop means witnessing the beauty of nature. The whiteness of the snow, the purity of the air, the horizon stretching into the distance—all of this evokes a sense of something grand and momentous. The altitude evokes a sense of liberation from the mundane—as if you were above all earthly things. This freedom permeates the brushstrokes, the choice of color, and the composition. Sometimes the beauty is so captivating that it seems impossible to convey it all with paint. But this is precisely what inspires—to try, to get closer, to capture the essence.

    Emotions

    Emotions

When I finish a painting of the sea, it can evoke a whole range of emotions—from peace to delight. The sea is often associated with inner harmony, freedom, and infinity. Having completed such a painting, you can feel as if you were on the shore yourself—the wind, the sound of the waves, the salty air. It's hard work, and the pride in the result is a well-deserved feeling.

    Winter plein air

    Winter plein air

Painting a mountain landscape during winter plein air is a unique experience, rich with emotion, physical sensations, and a profound immersion in nature. A majestic silence, broken only by the crunch of snow underfoot or the occasional sound of the wind. The air is crystal clear, and the light is especially bright, reflected off the snow-white slopes.
