About Ekaterina Pytina

  • Biography

My paintings explore quiet landscapes and moments of light in nature and the surrounding world. I’m drawn to simple elements such as water, trees, reflections and everyday objects, where atmosphere becomes more important than detail.
I work mainly with oil pastel, watercolour and charcoal. Each piece is created slowly, with attention to tone, surface and mood rather than narrative.
I live and work in London. My paintings are held in private collections internationally and have been exhibited in the UK and abroad.

    Exhibitions
2024 — Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Mall Galleries, London
2019 — Dance of Flowers, Moscow
