About Donn Poll

The shape, color and texture of everyday forms provide a strong aesthetic engagement in my paintings. After decades of working in acrylic, I took up oils in late 2019 and had the breakthrough I sought my whole career: my canvases began to evoke deep connections to human senses, memory and aspiration. Through basic images I paint to create an emotional response from viewers. Artfinder attracted me with its fine quality artists and global constituency that I expect will be a good environment for my paintings.
