    'Neon Streets' - Croydon street work

    HUGE 9 panel paint today in Croydon, really pleased with this, despite the rain, managed to crack this piece in around 6 hours start to finish, met some great people today, and generally really positive Croydon vibes. Piece is entitled 'Neon Streets' and is based on my recent trip to Tokyo for the marathon, wandering round the rain soaked streets in Shinjuku, magical place, so full of energy and colour, the painting is dedicated to my beautiful wife, Louise, Tokyo being where we had our honeymoon! smile emoticon Thanks to RISE Gallery for the hook up again!

    So continuing my 52 paintings for 52 long runs this year, here's my long run from Sunday the 22nd of Feb, at Tokyo Marathon. This painting inspired by the urban landscape of Shinjuku, around the start of the Marathon by the government building!

    So my latest long run, a mere 10 miles, as I am tapering my training still, ready for Tokyo Marathon this coming sunday 22nd! Super excited about going back to Japan, and seeing the city that's inspired so much of my work for more inspiration and exploration!
