Ashot Petrosyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia.
After graduating from the National University of Architecture and Construction in Yerevan and achieving a master's degree, he continued his studies abroad, where he received his doctorate degree.
After that he devoted himself to architecture and interior design.
Ashot has always been fond of classical art, nonetheless the colorful and bright themes of contemporary artists have also inspired his work as an interior designer.
In 2007 Ashot moved to Prague and started focusing on his art projects in addition to his main work.
The subjects of his paintings are still life, flowers, landscapes and abstractions, all of which are presented in modern style.
Petrosyan's greatest vision has been filling a room with an eye-catching jewel in the form of a colorful picture on the wall, which would shine through the whole place with its vivid colors, merge with it and create a calm and unique atmosphere. He uses canvas and acrylic paints for his creations.
Over the course of many years, the artist has developed a unique and recognizable style that has found admirers in more than twenty countries around the world.
The artist primarily sells his paintings directly to customers, via exhibitions and art fairs, and online through auctions and other online platforms.
In 2025, his works was awarded a silver medal by the Association of writers and artists of Francophonie.
