About Ariela Stem

Ariela Stem graduated from the Art College of the Academy of Arts (Moscow) and then continued her education at the Stroganov State Art University in the Department of Monumental and Decorative and Applied Arts, Artistic Glass and Ceramics, Monumental and Decorative Sculpture, and Painting. At the Stroganov State Art University, Ariela Stem created murals, sculptural compositions from fireclay and ceramics, and designed porcelain and earthenware sets with her own hand-painted designs. She also created graphic works and paintings. Having successfully completed her studies, Ariela Stem graduated with
a Bachelor's degree in Decorative and Applied Arts.

Ariela Stem worked as an artist and designer at William Reed, Britain’s oldest media holding company, creating covers and illustrations for its publications. She has also produced illustrations for magazines such as Shape, Elle, Cigar Clan, Ideas for Your Home, and In View (Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow). 

Created stickers for Viber, a cross-platform voice over IP and instant
messaging software application. She has collaborated as a designer with advertising networks Wunderman Thompson and TBWA Wordwide for adidas,
Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Mondelēz International, and brands such
as Carte Noire, Jacobs and Audi. As part of the TBWA creative team, she was awarded the Effie Award for the successful adidas running campaign. 

While still studying at the University of Fine Arts, she began successfully exhibiting her paintings in art galleries in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and today many of her paintings and graphic works can be found in private collections around the world. Ariela Stem's paintings are always filled with light and energy. Her works are characterized by expressive brushstrokes and energetic drawings, creating dynamism and movement. When her paintings hang on the walls, they bring a bright mood and a sense of vitality into the home, immersing the viewer in a world of pleasant emotions and impressions.

In 2023, the Israel State Arts Committee recognized Ariela Stem's high professional level and awarded her the status of "Particularly Outstanding Artist of the State of Israel." 

Ariela Stem continually refines and perfects her artistic mastery across a wide range of techniques—working in oil, tempera, and acrylic. She creates exquisite graphic works in pastel, colored pencil, and ink, and is a virtuoso of the classical watercolor technique. Ariela Stem's paintings are created in the style of Impressionism. This approach involves working with brushstrokes of varying size and width, requiring great precision, concentration, and extensive artistic experience. Her bold and original color combinations make each work
a true masterpiece.
