Anna Bernadskaya is a professional full-time artist from the cultural capital of Russia - Saint-Petersburg. Currently, the artist lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia. She has an art studio in Belgrade, where she works every day.
Studying graphic design at university laid the foundation for her thinking and understanding of art. Design has had a significant influence on her development as an artist and her perception of art through the prism of simple forms and color combinations. She has always had a special passion for working with color, constantly searching for perfect color harmonies. Color is a powerful tool in her work, shaping the perception of objects. Through color in her paintings, she conveys specific emotions, feelings, and states.
In painting, she has always been inspired by the diversity of artistic styles and the multitude of techniques employed by artists. She is gradually developing her own unique style, drawing on techniques from various masters. In her paintings, she combines the methods of the old masters with the approaches of the modern school of painting. Her works often feature meticulously detailed faces set against boldly rendered brushstrokes in the background.
Use different mediums - mainly oils, her style can be defined as a rush of the soul. For the most part, her paintings are figurative and focus on solitary figures. She prefers such subjects because of the emotional impact that can be conveyed through the human face and body.
In her paintings, she combines elements of design and traditional painting into a unified whole on the canvas. She also enjoys using various techniques within a single work, giving each piece a distinctive uniqueness.
