  • Hello, my name is Angelina. I graduated from the National Art Academy in Sofia - Bulgaria as a designer. I have worked for more than 20 years as a product and graphic designer. Drawing is my first love. My grandmother, also Angelina and painter, was my first painting teacher. I learned a lot about painting techniques and color studies from her. I had not drawn for a long time, due to the fact that my work as a designer took up a major part of my time. When the Covid pandemic forced me to stay at home, I started painting again. I found it to be the best way to deal with stress and express myself. I got more motivation to continue painting after I sold a few paintings through my Facebook page. I like to work with oil and acrylic paints on canvas. I draw some of my projects on my Apple tablet as well.

    Drawn sensations is an annual plein air organized by the municipality of the city of Svilengrad in Bulgaria. The exhibition after the plein air shows the works of all participants in the plein air, and the paintings themselves remain a donation to the city gallery fund.
