Andrew Newton is an award winning artist from the United Kingdom.
He received his 1st class BA (hons) Fine Art degree in 2008, where after he continued his practice as a hyper-realist portrait/abstract painter. Exhibiting all around the country and abroad, selling work to private collectors in the US, Singapore and Hong Kong, whilst also winning notable awards such as the 1st prize ROI award on multiple occasions.
Since 2012 Andrew has taught technical painting and drawing skills to various students, working as an art instructor for different establishments and educating learners with epilepsy, autism and ADHD.
In recent years, Andrew’s art practice has become more geometric and committed to symbolic forms alongside expressive and hyper-real painting styles. Influenced by De Stijl and other post expressionist art movements, Andrew dedicates to marry juxtaposed styles together to expound his philosophical view of the modern age.
