About Alessandra Zini

Alessandra Zini graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna with the Master engraver, set designer, painter Luciano de Vita.

Shadows have always been her passion, her figures come to life from them to then continuously transform with different materials.​

Black and white are her world, they constantly fight to get the better of the final result, in the end they support each other.

Prussian blue is allowed to sneak in every now and then.​Her journey continues because the shadows always follow her…

Her poetics translates into these words:

" I am fascinated by the nature of human relationships, I often approach them in an ironic way, from social, to politics, to the environment.

They are figures of my invention and the passion I have always had for shadows, contributes to giving birth to new beings ready to launch themselves into the world to tell their story "

She is represented by two major contemporary art galleries.

Her artworks are included in international private collections.
