    Alena Panchishin is a Ukrainian artist, self-taught, born in Dnipro, Ukraine. She passionated about art and drawing since she was a child.

    Alena mainly paints the sea and waves. She had tried oil paints for the first time in 2017, in an art studio, took some lessons with her art teacher. But then she in 2020 in Ukraine, during her quarantine for the Covid, she decided to get completely carried away with painting. She got up very early in the morning and went straight to her easel to paint and then devoted herself to her work.. She consumes and clears thousands of canvases, pours paint, commitment and many hours of video training and study online the movement of water… intending to delve deeper into the subject, its movement, the glow outside and inside, the reflections, the dominant colours linked to the light and sky, the surrounding nature.

     Thanks to all these hours devoted to studying the movement of water, as well as studying the work of oil paints, Alena developed her own style of painting water
