- ZVIROBII
Original artwork description
There are so many plants growing around us that we barely notice. We see them as weeds or just part of the landscape, without knowing how much people before us knew about them.
Zvirobii — St John’s wort — is one of those plants. It has been used in traditional herbal medicine for generations, but much of this knowledge is slowly disappearing.
I want this series to make us look at these plants differently — not only for their beauty, but also for the knowledge and stories they carry.
Materials used:
Acrylic on canvas, handmade embroidery
Details:
- Acrylic painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 30 x 60 x 4cm (unframed)
- Ready to hang
- Signed on the back
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Flowers and plants
