What the Earth Keeps
The earth remembers what we leave behind.
Beneath layers of soil, grass and time, fragments of forgotten lives remain — traces of places once inhabited, touched and loved. What the Earth Keeps explores the quiet relationship between nature and memory, where what has been abandoned is slowly reclaimed, but never entirely erased.
Built through layers of acrylic and oil pastel, the work combines earthy textures, muted tones and expressive marks to evoke the feeling of uncovering something ancient and almost forgotten.
It is a painting about time, disappearance and the things that remain — even when no one is looking.
