This minimalist black and white photograph of a branch is part of the ongoing series 'Quiet Matter', in which ordinary natural objects are isolated from their original context.

Separated from the landscape, the branch is transformed into a delicate network of lines suspended in darkness. Its intricate structure reveals a quiet tension between fragility and resilience, while light traces forms that would otherwise remain unnoticed. Rather than documenting a fragment of nature, the photograph invites a contemplative encounter with shape, rhythm and space.

Printed as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 305 gsm, each print is produced in a limited edition of five, individually signed and numbered by the artist, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
