Untitled #106 (2026) Original Painting by Pasmur Rachuiko

90 x 60 x 2cm

$1,803.04

The painting depicts an abandoned interior in which two seated figures are confronted by a red skeletal figure appearing in the doorway. The ordinary architecture of the room is transformed into a psychologically unstable space, where the boundary between everyday reality, memory and apparition becomes uncertain.

The contrast between the quiet, almost passive presence of the seated figures and the intense red figure creates a sense of suspended tension. The open doorway introduces a bright exterior landscape, but rather than offering escape, it reinforces the feeling that the scene exists between different states of reality.

The work reflects my recurring interest in anxiety, liminal spaces and moments when familiar environments begin to reveal something irrational, symbolic or metaphysical.

I work on canvas with artist-grade vinyl emulsion, often incorporating a small amount of acrylic.

For long-distance shipping, I can remove the canvas from its stretcher bars and send it rolled in a protective tube, at the buyer’s request. The canvas would need to be re-stretched after delivery.
