Under the blanket (2023) Original Acrylic Painting by Miri Baruch

This painting by Miri Baruch captures an intimate moment between two figures, a man and a woman, their faces gently touching and eyes closed. They are enveloped in a soft, light-colored fabric, creating a sense of warmth and enclosure against a darker background. The artist uses rich, earthy tones for their skin, contrasting with the dark hair of the woman. The textured brushwork lends a palpable quality to the figures and the surrounding material, emphasizing the tenderness of their clasped hands. The composition focuses on their serene expressions and close proximity, evoking a quiet, shared experience.
