Trophies (2026) Original Clay Sculpture by EJ Mack

A Yin/Yang style ceramic wall hanging featuring two interlocking human faces, one male, one female, their chins nestled into each other’s necks. Finished with an iron oxide wash to accentuate the depth of the features, this piece was named ‘Trophies’ in homage to all the wild animals who have been victims of game hunters and mounted upon walls.

Whilst there are precut holes in the back to assist with hanging, it is strongly advised that additional support is given due to the weight of the piece. Alternatively it can be displayed flat on a surface or propped up.

Please note there is a hairline crack in the back which occurred during the second firing. It is not visible when the piece is viewed face-on and I do not believe it has compromised the integrity of the construction as it has been carved from a single, solid slab of clay. The price has been set to reflect this small fault.
