The row of cherry trees along the river was my usual walking path. The blossoms turned into fruit, and the seasons passed.
Things change, and things remain the same. Yet something the same flows through them both.
In this painting, the quiet rhythm of time is captured in simple forms — a vessel, a flower, and two cherries resting gently on a cloth. The cool blues and soft yellows evoke the calm of reflection, while the red accents remind us of fleeting beauty.
