Inspired by the paintings of Dufy and Matisse but with a more contemporary edge. A view of the Cote D’Azur twinkling in the background as a woman lays day dreaming of the long summer she’s had.
A celebration of summers gone by when they seemed endless and full of promise.
This is a 7 layer reduction linocut print of a very limited and variable edition of only 4.
Please be aware that all my work is handprinted and designed by me. You will find textural anomalies, some faint marks but this is due to the fact that it was made by the artist in the studio and not a digitally enhanced copy made on a computer using AI.
