An early work from the archive: the view across a stone ball balustrade toward a Tuscan gate, beyond which a path disappears into misty green hills. The clear perspective and muted light create a quiet, almost meditative sense of distance.
This work already reveals what remains at the core of my painting to this day: the view of a place that becomes a threshold between near and far, between what is visible and what lies beyond.
