Original artwork description
In ‘The Crescent Dropped,’ a delicate ribbon of gold leaf drifts across the horizon like a fragment of moonlight fallen to earth. This sinuous form serves as a luminous bridge between the grounded ochres of the land and the shifting blues of the sky. Gold, with its historic connotations of the eternal and the divine, here symbolizes a flow of unseen energy—transformative and uniting. The painting invites the viewer to contemplate cycles, transitions, and the subtle interplay of light and texture.
