Sunflowers Universe is my personal dialogue with Vincent van Gogh, bringing together two motifs closely associated with his work: sunflowers and a swirling night sky. Flower heads drift through deep blues like small suns and planets, while curved brushstrokes connect sky, water and light into one continuous movement. The painting is less a quotation than an imagined universe in which sunflowers become celestial bodies — a tribute to the energy and wonder I find in Van Gogh’s art.
