Inspired by the luminous beauty of the Greek islands, this Mediterranean landscape captures a peaceful coastal village overlooking the deep blue sea. Whitewashed houses cascade along the hillside, while vivid blue doors, a traditional windmill and brilliant bougainvillea create distinctive accents against the sunlit architecture. A solitary sailboat and distant violet hills bring a sense of openness, calm and escape.
Created in my characteristic contemporary style, the composition combines simplified forms, bold black outlines and clear areas of vibrant colour.
