Electric Blue Female Portrait — Striking (2019) Original Oil Painting by Anna Miklashevich

This modern maximalist-style artwork focuses on the intense, unforgettable gaze and expressive, open lips of a stunning woman. The composition plays with high-contrast temperature, cutting through dark shadows with dramatic flashes of glowing turquoise, neon indigo, and a bright vertical streak of magenta-pink on the right. Measuring 70x60 cm, this original painting serves as a powerful conversation-starter wall art piece, bringing bold, modern maximalist gallery-wall energy and a colorful apartment aesthetic to any upscale office, living room, or trendy design space.

"Striking" explores the deep philosophical concept that unforgettable presence, insight, and true authenticity stretch far beyond conventional physical beauty. This expressive portrait reflects how emotional intelligence, untamed curiosity, and continuous personal growth shape our external radiance and inner glow. The high-contrast, multi-layered purple brushstrokes prove that we become truly remarkable not by performing for others or trying to stand out, but by investing deeply in who we are — through meaningful paths and deep sensitivity to the world. It stands as a captivating daily mantra, asking viewers whether strikingness is something we are born with or carefully cultivate through self-awareness and unposed strength.
