Stormy Light Original Oil Painting by oconnart

A modern, atmospheric Scottish landscape painting of a dramatic colourful , green and yellow stormy winter sky, passing over the hills.

Dramatic wintery showers drift across the island landscape in soft, translucent curtains, partially obscuring the hills and distant shoreline. Between the passing clouds, an eerie, silvery light filters across the sea, creating ghostly reflections and an otherworldly glow. The subdued palette and expressive, textured brushwork evoke the quiet tension of a Highland winter—still, remote and hauntingly beautiful.

Painted using quality artists paints on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white square profile wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.
