Original artwork description
A bold and colourful piece - as the title suggests the work is symbolic of stepping out with courage into a new phase of life or sense of self. There is the suggestion of a portal right at the centre of the work, like a mythical passage way and a wind of light guides the way beyond. The intensity and brightness of the colour signifies daring.
