She Is Allowed (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Iryna Kindrytska

One woman. Many versions of her. Strong, lost, ambitious, overwhelmed, searching, shining. This abstract portrait says she is allowed to be all of them.

The story behind it:

I painted her during a time when ambition and disappointment kept pulling me in different directions, and all I really wanted was harmony. I realized I didn't have to choose one version of myself. A woman can be fragile and powerful on the same day. She can feel lost, start over, rest, and still reach her goals.

Her gaze looks out at the world and inward at herself. Even when she's running on empty, a little blue bird and a blooming flower show up. Inspiration is closer than you think, and it often arrives when you stop pushing so hard.

The painting:

I built the surface with thick, sculpted layers of acrylic, so the impasto texture catches the light and changes as you move around the room. Bold black lines hold soft pinks, turquoise and cobalt blue together. It is a happy, expressive piece that brings warmth and energy to a living room, bedroom or creative studio.
It makes a meaningful gift for a woman in your life, or for yourself.
