She In Plural (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Sibel Kucukbingol

$1,175

She, In Plural is an original contemporary portrait exploring female identity fragmentation.

The figure is not singular. Her face and form are not defined by volume, but by a continuous, meditative network of lines. Countless fine, contour-like strokes overlap, thicken and dissolve into one another, creating islands of shadow and light. She emerges and dissolves at the same time — not through texture, but through the density of the line.

Inspired by the psychological state of dissociation, the work asks: When a woman is expected to be many things at once - soft and sharp, visible and hidden, put-together and shattered - where does the "real" self reside? The portrait is deliberately not clear. It is a ghost of a self built from paint, light and shadow.
