This two-panel abstract painting is part of my ongoing Eucalyptus Tree series, in which I explore the tree not simply as a natural subject, but as a form of transformation, memory, and hidden landscape. The fragmented, organic structure of the eucalyptus becomes a starting point for an imagined environment where colour, texture, and form suggest the presence of an inner world. For this work, I have intentionally painted on found and previously discarded wooden panels. Rather than treating their worn or ruined condition as something to be discarded, I carefully prepared and transformed the surfaces, allowing their previous life to become part of the artwork. The process reflects my interest in reuse, renewal, and the transformation of overlooked materials into something new.

It is framed together in a wooden frame, with both panels securely presented as a finished diptych.

Medium: Acrylic on Found Board
Format: Two-panel diptych
Overall size: 14.75 H × 43 W inches (37.5 × 109.2 cm)
