Oceanic love (2025) Original Oil Painting by Marco Ortolan

A couple embraces underwater, dressed in formal attire—a black suit and a flowing white gown. Their kiss unfolds in a suspended moment, surrounded by deep blue tones and shimmering light. Expressive brushwork and fluid textures evoke a dreamlike atmosphere, where water distorts form and time. The scene suggests a metaphor of love in isolation, stripped of ceremony and immersed in vulnerability. The signature “ORTOLAN” anchors the piece in a personal, emotional register.
Ideal for any home, this painting invites quiet reflection and emotional depth, offering a poetic counterpoint to everyday life and a timeless presence in any intimate or contemplative space.
