This little wooden panel artwork is created by building up layers of imagery and symbolism, painted over, sanded back then repeated again and again to create the feeling of ageing. The distressed surface feels like old wallpaper or layers of advertising posters that are covered and reveal a bit of the one below over a long period of time.
It is a quiet meditation on impermanence.
