My new book

I created this painting as a playful and slightly mysterious scene, combining vintage interiors with a touch of dark humour. A woman sits quietly reading a book titled How to Get Away with Murder, creating an intriguing contrast between the elegant retro atmosphere and the unexpected subject of her reading.

I used warm yellows, oranges and turquoise together with expressive brushwork to create a nostalgic yet contemporary feel. I wanted the painting to feel like a scene from an old film, while leaving the viewer to imagine the story behind the character.
