Mojito (2026) Original Oil Painting by Valeriia Radziievska
70 x 100 x 2cm (unframed)
$2,000
Original artwork description
A sun-drenched moment of freedom, confidence and effortless summer sensuality. Mojito portrays a woman caught in a quiet, self-assured pause, turning away from the viewer behind reflective sunglasses. Her patterned headscarf, long dark hair and bare back create a striking silhouette against a vibrant, expressive background.
Layers of turquoise, lime green, warm coral and deep black evoke the refreshing colours of a tropical afternoon and the vivid energy of a freshly mixed mojito. Bold brushstrokes, drips and gestural marks contrast with the carefully observed figure, creating a dynamic dialogue between realism and contemporary expression.
In creating this piece, I've infused a blend of pop art vibrancy with the finesse of realism. Through oil, I've breathed life into a moment of chic leisure.
