Original artwork description
Painted on-site in the artist's garden in Minneapolis, MN. Features a variety of exotic lily flowers in full bloom including magenta with white edges, orange with dark centers, red with yellow tips, and crowned with golden yellow tiger lilies with curling petals. The flowers were painted with brush and accented by palette knife work. The flower petals are enhanced by the thickly shaped paint. The background is created with textured brushstrokes in a variety of contrasting colors including red, green, blue, lavender and orange. Painted in oil on canvas. The painting continues onto the sides of the 1.5" thick stretcher bars for a look that "pops" off the wall and is ready to hang.
